Description
The Brew Bus fermented in 2011 when our Founder Anthony Derby was a student at The University of Colorado. When he tried to visit 3 breweries in one day he quickly realized the need for a transportation service. In 2012 we started brewing our own craft beer under the simple mission to make high quality beer that we like to drink. Today, the good times continue to roll with our own independent brewery and tasting room.

12 oz. can. Pours a clear dark copper-red color with a giant khaki foam head and stubborn/annoying retention. Spotty lacing. Light caramel aroma. Sweet caramel malt (and vanilla?) flavor up front with a light smoke finish. Very smooth and clean. Nice balance of flavors. Very good. Very repeatable.

12 oz. can. Pours an opaque dark brown color with mahogany highlights and a HUGE tan head with great retention. Minimal lacing. Strong aroma of coffee and spices. Taste follows the nose. Dominant coffee grounds flavor with some spices in the finish. Too much coffee for my liking. Medium-heavy body.

12 oz can bought in St Pete, FL. Pours a cloudy gold color with a HUGE (annoying) off-white head and excellent retention. Good lacing. Citrusy hops nose. The taste has more hops and less citrus than the nose. Not overly bitter. Crisp mouthfeel.

Poured up on tap at the brewpub where it exhibits a clear pure gold body that supports a thin off white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up grapefruit and lime. The taste delivers firm levels of bitter lemon grass, lime, grapefruit hops, a hit of pine and then bitter hop spiciness. This creates an interesting mix of hop notes with plenty of depth and a bit of perceived hop flavor juiciness too.
