Cask handpull at Simple Simons, Canterbury. Deep copper with thin off white head. Earthy hop aroma, sharp hop flavour in mouth with apple/pear fruit flavours. Drying hop finish. bit over done. Just a tad too sharp for winter, but a good palate cleanser. Slightly eggy aroma too.

Cask handpull at Simple Simons, Canterbury. Ruby brown colour with bubbly beige head. Dark fruit, blackcurrant aroma and choc. Good in mouth with more blackcurrant/berry. On of the fruitier stouts. Not very stout like in fact, more of a fruit beer

[Cask at The Evening Star, Brighton] An amber beer with a white head. the aroma is sweet with notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel and a dry hoppy end.

[Cask at Wenlock Arms, London] A nutbrown beer with no head. The aroma is very slight, what is there is of caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, roasted bread, and hops. The hops gives it a dry finish with notes of toffee.
