Can from Daiei. Drank on the train home. A little roasted malt and light chocolate. Yeast is the first flavor that stands out. Too much yeast. Some raisin as it warms up. Mellows out a little s it warms. Body is ok....maybe s little too thin. Interesting slight sourness on the finish though.

Pours slightly hazy, yellow-pale. Not much of a head and what it has, doesn’t stay for long. Aroma is funny - bubblegum, some funky citrus, lemon tart. Feels more like some kind of fruit-beer cocktail, not really like a beer. Taste goes down in the same vein, artificial citrus fruit, perfumy and not really good. I usually like when brewers are using local ingredients but well, the beer has to taste good also. This time it doesn’t.

Can from Daiei in Himonya for my train commute home. Drank straight from the can. Very light banana and clove with some grain in the nose. Slightly watery on the palate with a little bit of cardboard. A little bit of clove in the finish. Not enough flavor or body.

Can from Daiei. Drank straight from the can. Aromas of cucumber, apple, fructose and alcohol. Taste is similar with cardboad and wet hay coming out as well. Active carbonation with weird dry and sweet quality. Becomes like a chuhai on the finish. Nasty stuff. --- Beer merged from original tick of Goya Dry on 29 May 2015 at 19:30 - Score: 4

Tap at Yokohama Beer Fest. Strong beer, 7.5% or 8.5%. Orange-brown color. Rich malt nose, spicy, cjhocolate, caramel. Spicy, malty flavor. Very much like a spicy Belgian dubbel. Apricot and orange flavors as well. PRetty well done.

Can from Daiei. Drank straight form the can. Nice shikwasa nose with some metallic and bread-like notes present. Taste is like sugar syrup in a chuhai. The flavors separate into something not good. Metal, plastic, corn syrup and sweet citrus all present. Body is ultra thin and sugary with a slightly chalky mouthfeel. No body to speak of. --- Beer merged from original tick of Sheequarsar White Ale on 15 May 2015 at 20:14 - Score: 4

Pours dirty pale, hazy and not very nice colour actually. Foam is also not like weizen’s at all, I wonder if this can could have been an odd one. Aroma is wheaty, sweet bananas and a bit of cloves. Bit too sweet and bubblegummy for me. Taste feels carbonated, has some banana and fruitiness but in general is does not leave very fresh impression. Hmmm... When I had this beer maybe 2 years ago, I remember I actually liked it. This time, not really.
