Description
Kompania Piwowarska operates three breweries with rich heritage: Tyskie Browary Książęce (established in 1629), the Dojlidy Brewery in Bialystok (1768) and Lech Browary Wielkopolski in Poznan (1895). These breweries provide Polish people with their favourite beers, including Żubr, Tyskie, Lech, Dębowe, Redd’s and the Książęce specialty collection. Our proven beer recipes, natural ingredients, pristinely clean breweries and, above all, superbly skilled and experienced brewers, allow us to brew beers that are highly valued in Poland and abroad.

Bottle. Clear golden with a small non-lasting white head. Aroma is malty, caramel, bready. Taste is more sweet caramel malt, bready, syrup, a touch of booze and light metallic bitterness. Light-medium body, soft-average carbonation, fairly smooth. Not bad.

Can from my local convenience store. Pours pale amber with an initially large frothy off-white head, quickly dissipating. Aroma of malt, alcohol, corn and syrup. Medium to heavy sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Fair.

400ml bottle. Clear golden colour, white head instantly disappears. Aroma is mostly a sweet apple syrup, some malt in the background. Taste of sweet apple syrup, sugary, hint of malt, overall not very beer like at all, and artificial. Body is light, thin, average carbonation. It's weird but not that bad for a fruit beer I suppose. Needlessly sexist marketing aside I don't mind it but wouldn't have it again.

Bottle from the Polish Delicatessen, opposite the Barum Top Inn, Halifax. Clear golden with a small bubbly-frothy head. Somewhat crisp for its strength, this is probably its greatest asset alongside its smoothness as it’s very ordinary in taste.

Can from an Eastern European shop in Bedminster, Bristol. Golden in colour, with a frothy, white, head and moderate carbonation. Light, malty, aroma with some honeyed sweetness and metallic edge. Flavour was better, with some lemony notes, Crisp malts and a moderately bitter finish. A solid lager.

can from bulgarian supermarket in chania near bus station. clear yellow small white head. quite malty aroma, also quite mild.flavor is malts, caramel and a mild bitter hoppy balance. hops are the kind of hops that taste like vomit or ripe fruit peel though, so it’s fine they are not strong. the malts/caramel balance is good.
