500ml bottle. Gold, thick off white head. Quite a tsty strong lager, decent malt and then this good dose of hops on the finish. Some citrus and toffee on aroma. Fine. Drinkable and alcohol isn’t too obvious.

500ml bottle. Terrible apple flavoured beer. Awful. Some apple fruit, some dryness on end. OK so it’s not as bad as some sweet ciders, but even so.

500ml bottle. My first beer of the day lounging on the Ashford ringroad waiting for the Tour de France. Reddy pink with thin white head. Strong red berry flavour. Really quite sweet, but fun and drinkable. Actually quite refreshing. Some dryness on finish.

330 ml green bottle, as "Classic Gingers Beer / Piwo Imbirowe". Courtesy of Cardinal pub, Stavanger. Original gravity 11.8%, ABV is 4.1%. Admixtures: E300 anti-oxidant, caramel E150c-colour, apple acid E296 acidity regulator. Contains barley malt, sugar and sweetening substances: glucose syrup, E950, E951. Contains a source of phenylalanine. In other words: not quite "Reinheitsgebot" .... Good grief!
Crystal clear pale golden colour, with relatively big bubbles. Fizzy and foamy head that dies out completely after a while. Strong sweetish aroma of ginger, glucose syrup and disgusting chemical stuff. The flavour is also very sweet, but not really disgusting - it has a lot in common with the softdrink / mixer ginger "ale". There’s just a weak notion that the basis of this drink is actually a beer. People who really like "ginger ale" might like this beer too. I’ll pass, thank you.

50 cL can (sample). Pours clear yellow. No head. Strong aroma of sweet/sour candy. Very sweet soda like taste/feel and sourness which runs into the finish. Almost cider. This is a beer version of Nestea peach.

(Can 50 cl) Clear, golden with a dense, white head. Odd, synthetic fruit aroma. Thin-bodied with notes of tropical fruit juice. Sourish finish without any real bitterness. A softdrinkish freshness. Courtesy of faroeviking. 220207

Canned. A golden beer with a fast disappearing off-white head - ending as a rim next to the side of the glass. The aroma is very sweet and peachy, while the flavor is very artificially and very sweet with notes of both peaches and kiwi. Too artificial for my taste.

500ml can from a Polish supermarket in Ashford. Gold colour with thin white head. Bit of cardboard on a lager malt aroma. Slightly ugly. Some bite on end. Metallic and nasty. The metallic, almost artificiality of the beer is nasty, especially on the finish.

Test vom 30.1.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 8,5,6,4,10,4 - 5,15
