Description
Kompania Piwowarska operates three breweries with rich heritage: Tyskie Browary Książęce (established in 1629), the Dojlidy Brewery in Bialystok (1768) and Lech Browary Wielkopolski in Poznan (1895). These breweries provide Polish people with their favourite beers, including Żubr, Tyskie, Lech, Dębowe, Redd’s and the Książęce specialty collection. Our proven beer recipes, natural ingredients, pristinely clean breweries and, above all, superbly skilled and experienced brewers, allow us to brew beers that are highly valued in Poland and abroad.

As a socially responsible company, we take good care of people and our environment. Executing our sustainable development strategy, we promote moderate and responsible consumption of alcohol, train salespeople, save water and energy, support the development of our employees and business partners and engage in voluntary work. We are proud to sponsor many local teams. We have been consistently earning a spot among Poland’s top employers.

Bottled(660ml). -Interesting name and I’ve expected it to be from england and not from poland. Clear golden, medium head, sweet malty nose. Really very smooth taste, malty aroma with strange (flowery?) notes. It easily slips down through my throat.

Canned(500ml). -from gas station somewhere in Poland. Poor malty aroma with strong bitterness. Notes of corn and hay. Metallic.

(Can 50 cl) Clear, fully golden with a lightly creamy, off-white head leaving a discreet lacework. Sweetish malty nose. Rather solid body and somewhat alcoholic. A rather crude bitterness in the finish. 230706

(Can 50 cl) Pours a slightly hazy pink with a handsome, white head leaving laces. Strong aroma of raspberries. Somewhat watery body, sweet - cloyingly sweet - with distinct raspberry flavour. Quite artificial flavour that is. Somewhat chemical and artificial impression throughout. 200706

Pale amber beer with slightly green shine; yellow-amber, collapsing & creamy head, fed by lively carbonation. Malty nose, slightly toasted, quite a bit greenmalt, decaying hay. Again rather aggressive flavour of both greenmalt and toasted or ambrée malts. Vegetable flavour, certain type of breakfast cereal. Bit burning MF, probably heightened by the alcohol. Light to medium bodied, quite slick, nearly fatty. Polish version of a "Speciale Belge" - if it weren’t for the bottom fermenting. And then those aggressive malts... With some quality British hops, however, it might resemble the "pale ales" known in Belgium.

Very small, transparent head over deep golden beer. Grainy, grassy, and ever so slightly sourish nose, gliding to more sweet, malty notes; hazelnuts? Sweet, malty, with a hint at hoppiness - shifting to metallic bitter in the finish. If there’s acidity here, it’s the CO². Bit sticky MF, light to medium body. Pretty uninteresting strong(er) lager. Too sweet.

(Can 50 cl) Pours fully golden with a lightly creamy head. Aroma of pure malt. Decently full body with quite some maltiness and a lightly metallic edge. Hoppy finish. A straight, strong lager. 180506

500 ml can, bought in Poland. Golden colour, large white head. Flowery sweet aroma, candy notes too. Flavour is unusually sweet for a pale lager, sugary and artificial candy notes. Hardly any bitterness. Barely escaped being poured down the drain.

500 ml can, bought in Poland. Golden to amber colour, large head. Fairly strong sweetish musty and fruity aroma. Flavour is fairly malty and sweet with evident alcoholic notes, partially balanced by tolerable hops. I had it on its own at cellar temperature, would probably prefer it cold with a solid Polish meal.

Poured a golden amber with foamy white head. Bitter grassy smell at first with a malt mixture. Started off tingly of alcohol and finished wth a rich malt.
