330ml bottle from Discount Supermarket, Cardiff. Pours murky orange, medium receding off-white head. Aroma is candi fruits, Belgian triple yeast. Taste is sweet with what seems to be a battle between mosaic hop and yeast for the overall character. It’s nice, citrussy with some nice colourful sweet moments, but perhaps suffering from an identity crisis.

Keg @ Beer Revolution, Hay On Wye. Pours deep hazy brown, off-white head. Aroma is malty, spicy, some hops. Taste is nutty malts, very nicely balanced with light citrus hop moments. Exceedingly drinkable. A good red.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 2016. Clear amber colour lasting beige bubbly head. sweet earthy bread aroma. Some sweetness from the abv. I mean it’s earthy and unsubtle and not very refined. A little homebrew if you will. Hides abv well

[ As Mad Dog Submissable Anarchy ].Light light unclear medium yellow orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, citrus, apple. Flavor is moderate sweet with a long duration, sweet malt, pale malt, sweet apple, alcohol - phenol, wood - juniper notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141011]

[ As Mad Dog Martian Apocalypse ].Matt medium yellow orange color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, orange, mandarin. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, tart orange - fruit, caramel, fruity. Body is medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20141010]

The Pigs Ear wrap up tasting at ChrisO’s. Clear deep amber - brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Papery dark malts, a little roast bitterness. Touch of dark chocolate. Light dry bitterish finish. Passable.

Bottle split at Chriso pre Xmas tasting, 06/12/15. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent tan covering. Nose is light roast, chocolate, spice, toffee. Taste comprises rich roast, chocolate, tar, spice, toffee, biscuit. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a spattering of hop bitterness. Ok stout.
