THE UNEXAMINED BEER IS NOT WORTH BREWING
There comes a time in every man’s life when he must ask himself – Should I continue working my steady and lucrative job or should I just quit and make beer? Well, for Norfolk-native Porter Hardy, the decision was a no-brainer. In 2012, the former home-brewer (and now former lawyer) traded his ties in for tap handles, and never looked back. With a stellar team around him, Porter entered un-fermented waters as one of the original craft breweries to set up shop in Hampton Roads.

12 oz can from jcos. Pours a kinda rusty amber with a nice froth beige head. Sweet aroma and flavor of toffee, candied nuts, and bread. Slightly sticky. Eh, it's fine.

Can: Hazy, bubbly, yellow with a thick off-white head. Taste is pretty wheaty.....lemon, wheat malt, banana, clove. Fairly well-bodied and not bad in taste....at first....but I agree with Shrubber85.....a bit of black plastic Hefty bag nuances at the finish.

Draft at Spacebar. Poured a kind of muted yellow-orange color with not much of a head - kind of fizzy. Aroma was crisp grassy notes. Light floral. Citrus lemon zest. Really nice beer. Easy to drink. I’d consider picking this one up to share with folks - pretty solid for a pils!
