Can from the strait and narrow at home. Hazy golden colour with a white head. Aroma of citrus and coconut. The coconut and resin taste seems an awkward clash. Medium body.

Can from Westbourne Wines, Bournemouth. Sour raspberry aroma with a peppery streak. Ruby red rather than pink. This tinges the foamy white head. Medium sour. Juicy. The peppercorns add some underlying heat rather than taking over. Light bodied. Slick if thin. Fizzy carbonation. Dry, ever so slightly astringent finish. Refreshing and laid back.

Draft at Chaplin’s, Boscombe. Clear pink red with a white head. Aroma of tart strawberry, red berries, wheat and light pepper notes. Flavour is above light sweet and moderate sour. Above light bodied with soft carbonation. I drink this in disbelief and happiness how the beer seen has come along here in my home town. Good stuff!
