Sights & Swills Summer Holiday Beer#22. POOLE. Fourth beer at the brewpub. Black with a small head. Its chocolate is not heavy but the 'cake' style is evident, albeit quite dry in its finish.

Sights & Swills Summer Holiday Beer#19. POOLE. First of a few at this suburban brewpub. Dark amber with a thin head with a sweetish aroma and taste. Quite true to its style and could be sessionable.

Sights & Swills Summer Holiday Beer#21. POOLE. Third different third at the brewhouse. Sweet porter, so much so its berries and fruit negate the style completely, including a sweet aroma. By no means a bad brew though. Cherry notes.

Sights & Swills Summer Holiday Beer#20. POOLE. Second of five thirds at the brewpub and furthest right on the photo. Dark clear amber with a texture not feeling its strength. Its taste does though with a fine and appealing sugariness.

Sights & Swills Summer Holiday Beer#23. POOLE. Last beer in the Brewpub visit. Fruity session IPA and an easy texture as you'd expect. Slightly over-carbonated but full of a tropical fruit aroma and taste.

Sample courtesy of Grumbo. Cheers! Drunk after Ipswich committed the cardinal sin of getting a penalty and missing it, only to concede one and losing the game half an hour later. Aroma of dry fruits , rye bread, malt loaf with a hint of spice. Slight carbonation but the flavour really follows through nicely. This is very good.

Keg at New Forest Beer Fest. Aroma has low key fruit and a herbal.edge. Cloudy pale orange. Thick foamy white head attempts to escape the glass. Medium bitter with a sweet and porridgy finish. Stone fruit and citrus. Medium bodied. Slick with a pithy feel. Long dry finish. Nice enough but the low ABV hints at how overly polite it is.
