Review based on the BJCP2015 guidelines (style 21A). Bottle 33cl - Batch L67/2017IPA (BBF 22.04.2019). AROMA: medium-high vegetal-like aroma (cabbage), with a mild "green" background aroma and caramelized malt. APPEARANCE: ambar color and clear. medium-low ivory head with low retention. TASTE: similar to the aroma with initial medium vegetal flavor, medium-low toffee-like malt background (almost stale). faint cereal husk. medium-high bitterness with a dry and bitter finish that endures. PALATE: medium body with medium-low carbonation. OVERALL: an IPA at the end of its shelf life with odd aroma that resembles somekind of contamination.

Dark brown colour with a reddish hue. Aroma and flavour are predominantly malty and sweet. There’s a fair amount of red fruit too. Quite plummy. Metallic taste in the finish.

Now with a red label and lower, 6.3% alcohol. Murky light brown colour with quick fading head. Aroma and flavour have some toasted malt and a little fruity sweetness.
