Pours dark with nice white head. Nice fresh malts and caramel. Clean finish and none of that doughiness yuou get with worse versions. A very nice dunkel.

Bottle. Beautiful chestnut brown with a nice off-white head. Taste is a toasted grain, not burnt bitterness.

Meh. Don't get me wrong. It's not bad, just run of the mill.

On tap at a downtown Hendo restaurant with the wife. Frothy head, hazy lemon pour. Fresh orange juice & herbal nose. Surprisingly strong orange. Bittersweet, slight confectionery sweetness, middling acid, customary dusty finish but pushy carb for once. Kinda good.

6 week old can A: Clear pale amber with a short, fast falling head. S: Caramel and toasted bread with faint leafy, earthy hops. T: Hops are more pronounced with herbs and grass joining the dried leaves and earthy notes from the nose. Caramel and toast remain. M: Low carbonation and medium light body with a smooth texture. O: Tasty flavor balance surprises after an uninspiring look and aroma.

750ml bottle at share, vintage 2015 (with Silent Night on the label). Inky black pour with a thin beige head. Roasty malts and chocolate come up in the aroma, along with traces of vanilla.Taste adds a little coffee to the roasty chocolate, and for 9.5% its pretty darn boozy too.

Single from Ingles mix a six. Pint glass @home. Hazy orange, whitewashed sticky head. Citra, sweet onion, soy, rind, heavy veg. Murky, lemon, calcium, sorta sweet, lingering herbal. Texture aside, not liking this.

Variety pack at Food Lion, Roanoke Rapids NC: Mango, lemongrass aroma. Hazy amber, medium head, wispy sediment. Mango, honey, biscuit. Lilly finish. Medium to full body, soft carbonation. There's a little something in this IPA for everyone, solid go-to.
