Split a 12 oz bottle with friends. Poured a dark amber color with a small off-white head. Aroma was some notes of roasted malts, some sweetness, touch of light chocolate. Flavor was a nice earthy hop character with some roasted malts, sweetness. Pretty easy to drink. Enjoyable.

Sampled on draft at the House of 1000 Beers this beer poured a dark brown with fain orange highlights and a trace foamy beige head that faded quickly and left no lacing. The aroma was faint with a dry woody presence. The flavor was strong toffee, maple, coconut rum, pineapple and vanilla. Long toffee and coconut rum finish. Moderately full bodied but significantly undercarbonated. Interesting.

Sampled on draft at the House of 1000 beers this beer poured a bright golden color with a medium sized foamy white head that faded quickly and left minimal lacing. The aroma was tartish and musty with touches of apple and chalk. The flavor was a bit tart and chalky with light notes of apple, bread, biscuit and must. Medium length finish of apple, bread and biscuit and turns a bit dry at the end. Medium body. Ok.

Draft at the brewpub courtesy of lithy. Thanks! Pours a clear copper color with a large frothy off-white head. Good head retention. Aroma of big toffee malts with citrus and resin hops. The taste is herbal, citrus, melon and resin hops with toffee malts. Medium bodied, lingering bitterness, just a bit off balance. Solid DIPA.
