Fruchtig, hefig, in der Nase recht unscheinbar. Trotzdem hintenraus recht lecker. Die Zitrone am Glas könnten die sich im Brewpub sparen ;-)

This was poured into a 10 oz pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking dark brown close to black color with a bar pour’s kind of slim white to off white foamy head that dissipated evenly to allow a decent lacing roaming about.
The smell had a thick rich roasted cocoa bean to slight coffee rich indulgent glossed over cakey-ness.
The taste was pretty much exactly the same and covered a big cakey rich chocolate into the aftertaste. Semi-dry finish came across nicely.
On the palate, this one sat about a medium on the body with a rich chocolatey roastiness rolling over my tongue, indulgent - definitely. Semi-sipper to somewhat of a drinker allowed me to be quite pleased.
Overall, foreign/export stout or American stout, maybe a cross between the two. If anything, I liked it and would have it again.
