About
Farmageddon Brewery is an award-winning craft beer business based in rural Comber. We believe in craft beer not chemical engineering so our beer is unfiltered, suitable for vegans and the contains no preservatives.

It all began with a passion for great tasting beer and a home brewing kit. 3 years on, Farmageddon boasts a growing brewery and an impressive core range with limited edition cameos to keep it interesting. Locally made, hand crafted beers, right on your doorstep.

Closed in April 2023 due to economic pressure. Bought by Fermanagh Brewery in November 2023 with production moved to Fermanagh's operations in Derrygonnelly.

The name ‘Farmageddon’ came from late-night chats about what would be needed to survive the Zombie apocalypse? The answer seemed simple, brewing your own beer and raising animals for food were at the top of that list.

Bottleshare at Craft Islington. Thanks to Fergus. Opaque dark brown beer, decent pale tan head. Smooth and semi dry palate, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, light cream and quite tangy chocolate. Tangy fruits with an awkward bitterness. A little warmth on the finish. Yeah, flavoursome but defo off kilter.

Can won from The Understudy, South Bank. It's a gusher. The foam head attempts to flee it's dark opaque body. Roasty aroma. Dark coffee. Liqourice. But what really comes through is cocoa powder. Medium-heavy bitter with some tart sourness. Matches the aroma with added dark berries. Thick bodied. Creamy. Average carbonation more evident into the long dry astringent finish. Good stuff. Packs a punch.

Can shared in London - cheers to Colin. Pours clear brown with a frothy, tan head. Good stuff, some nice ashy roast, bitter dark chocolate, scorched earth. Full bodied with fine to average carbonation. Ashy bitter finish, more cocoa. Sound.
