The appearance was a ruddy burnt amber color with a film of a little white semi-foamy head. Sly lace.
The aroma had some sweet and tart raspberries. Subtle grassy sweetness, light lemon rind.
The flavor was moderately sweet with a touch of tart sliding in underneath. Aftertaste was raspberries, sweet and tart. Finish was quick and mostly tart.
The palate was about light bodied with a decent sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt appropriate.
Overall, as a raspberry ale, this works. Don’t think anything else and realize that’s what Bastone aimed for.

The appearance was a murky orange color, somewhat brown, but not really. Finger’s worth of white foamy head sat atop and fell off at a decent pace. Mild stringy lace.
The aroma had a floral hoppy output gracing some notes of lemon, banana, vanilla, raisin, and some woody to earthy dry/ sort of dustiness.
The flavor was definitely pretty dry rubbing against the malty sweetness of the aromas. Dusty sort of earthy aftertaste and a clingy sort of dry leathery/grainy finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it. Sturdy carbonation. ABV felt fine.
Overall, I can see it as a Belgian pale ale, and possibly one to come back to.

Poured into a mug, the appearance was a semi-dark amber color with a half finger’s worth of white foamy head. Some messy lace.
The aroma had some semi-spicy hops rolling over some toast, pomme-like fruit and then just a touch of vinous quality.
The flavor blended a slight sour Belgian sort of taste to the sweet to spicy hops. Light banana and then some nuts. All seems to combine decently into the aftertaste and run on into the finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fair sessionability about it, if one looks past some of the raw vinous quality almost coming out in an acidic manner. Carbonation seemed alright.
Overall, was the acidic and vinous behavior of the aroma and flavor intentional? I’m not sure.

Unclear light to medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is light malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, yeast, bubble gum. Flavour is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sweet malt, wheat, spicy, yeasty, coriander notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20131122]

It’s an unclear, yellow beer topped by an off-white head. The aroma is quite dusty and cellary, with some lemon and orange hints. Generic fruityness too. Quite dry on the palate, with quite a lot of carbonation and a solid dose of coriander. Citrus peel as well. Some maltyness and a little bitterness towards the end. Lacks quite a bit to become my favorite wit. 131122

Pours cloudy pale lime yellow with small white head. Clear aroma of hops, yeast and coriander. Sourish, slightly perfumed flavour of yeast, flowers and citrus. Mildly rough and sourish aftertaste. OK but I have tasted better beers of this style.
