Bottled. Deep brown colour with a small off-white head. Aroma is fruity, some nutty, toasted and caramelly tones with mild wood too. Flavour is fruity, some spruce, pine and mild caramel along with some toffee and mild toasted elements. Smooth and nice CDA.

Can from Eltham Sainsburys. Black pour with a beige head. Chocolate & milky coffee aromas. Taste is chocolate digestive biscuit, bitter malts. Quite thin, needs a lot more oomph.

Can with a widget from sainsbury. As Camden stout smooth. A jet black coloured pour with a tidy lasting light tan head. Aroma is woody roast, sweet roast, bark, lactose, earthy roast. Flavour is composed of semi sweet and tangy blackberry, bitter black roast, charred wood, liquorice. Some harsh roast. Palate is smooth, bit dull, tangy, mellow nitro.

1/3 pint, draught at Camden Beer Hall & Brewery. Creamy, off-white head, near-black in the glass, fair lacing. Promising aromas of chocolate malts, slightly roasted. Soft chocolate malts to the taste character added by dark bread. Rounded roasted ending, soft and sweet. Pretty alright, just a bit thin on the palate. (Kentish Town, London 02.10.2023).

1/3 pint, draught at Camden Beer Hall & Brewery. Steady white head, clear late straw coloured body, rich lacing. Moderate aromas of pale malts and noble hops. Blended taste profile of bread-like malts and noble hops. Mid-dry ending, semi.-sweet. Clean on the palate. Satisfying. (Kentish Town, London 02.10.2023).

1/3 pint, draught at Camden Beer Hall & Brewery. Cloudy grey-golden body, covering pearl white head, spotty lacing. Subdued smell of mid-dry citrus fruits. Lemony flavoured, mid-dry. Prolonged ending, mid-sweet. Just okay. (Kentish Town, London 02.10.2023).

1/3 pint, draught at Camden Beer Hall & Brewery. Pearl white head over a clear warm golden body, spotty lacing. Grassy hops and pale malts on the nose. Quite similar taste of mid-sweet malts and grassy hops. Mild bitter end. Clean mouthfeel. Fair enough. (Kentish Town, London 02.10.2023).

Interesting one as it was unremarkable and enjoyable at the same time. Clear golden pour with a tine white head. Aromas mainly malt and grain, taste similar, but on the sweeter side.
