11/3/2023. Can shared at our hotel in Rugby. Bought at Brewhouse & Kitchen, Bristol. Pours dark brown with a frothy off-white to beige head. Aroma of toffee, bread, nut, dried fruits, liquorice, treacle, molasses. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness and body. Slightly sticky mouthfeel with average carbonation. Quite a boozy finish. Quite enjoyable.

9/3/2023. Keg at Brewhouse & Kitchen, Southbourne. Pours black with a small tan coloured head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malt, dark fruits, chocolate, ashy edge. Moderate sweetness, medium plus roasted bitterness. Medium body, creamy, slight foamy carbonation. Bitter roasted finish.

9/3/2023. Keg at Brewhouse & Kitchen, Southbourne. Pours almost clear pale amber with a lasting frothy white head. Aroma is hoppy, caramel, malt, orange, flowers, slight nutty spiced edge. Moderate sweetness and body, medium bitterness. Slightly oily, average carbonation. Nice bitter finish. Decent.

Moderate sweetness, medium plus bitterness. Medium body, average carbonation,. Nice bitterness. Pretty good.

Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, slightly watery, soft carbonation. Nice bitterness, and quite enjoyable.

9/3/2023. Cask at Brewhouse & Kitchen, Southbourne. Pours clear dark golden orange with a small frothy off-white head. Aroma is hoppy, straw, spiced orange, herb, touch of soap. Moderate sweetness, quite a sharp bitterness. Moderate body, slightly watery, average carbonation. Bitterness faded to finish. Not the best on offer today.
