ABV: 5.3%. Clear dark brown colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, caramel, sweet malt, dark malt, berries - cola - coffee beans - bread - rye bread. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet with a long duration, roasted - toasted, bread, sweet malt, dark malt, berries - cola - coffee beans - bread - rye bread touch. Can. Pours clear golden with a large white head that dissipates fairly quickly leaving nice residual. Aroma is a bit grassy and grainy, hay, bread. Flavor is light sweet, dry indeed, light bitter. Hay. Light body.

Can. Pours clear black, medium creamy beige head, great lacing. Classic black ipa Aroma, roasty grapefruit and pine, earthy. Flavor is light plus sweet, light plus bitter. Medium body, creamy mouthfeel.

Poured from a 16 oz can dated October 05, 2022. Aroma is grain forward with really nice bread and cracker notes. Slight floral and fruity eaters. Light spicy, herbal hop notes. Hints of alcohol. Pours a very clear, brilliant yellow-gold with a medium large, thick, fluffy, white head that recedes slowly to a small film that lingers. Moderate lacing and faint legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with notes of bread and cracker with a nice rye spice in the finish. Moderately strong bitterness and hints of alcohol. Light spicy, herbal hop notes that linger into the finish with the rye notes. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid lager even with this age. Nice spice notes from the hops and rye. Alcohol is well hidden. Perhaps a bit bitter. Nice malt complexity with a tasty and aromatic profile.

Poured from a can dated May 01, 2022. Aroma is fairly malt forward with lots of caramel and toffee with lighter notes of chocolate, roast and toasted bread. Hints of nuts. Light alcohol notes. Hints of woody, herbal hop notes. Pours dark brown, but not quite black with a medium sized, thick, fluffy, tan head that recedes slowly to a small, creamy film that lingers. Moderate lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with strong malt notes. Lots of chocolate and butter chocolate with lighter coffee and roast notes. Moderate notes of caramel and toffee with hints of toasted bread and nuts. Moderately strong bitterness with light alcohol notes. Fairly dry finish. Hints of spicy, woody, herbal hop notes. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low, but present astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a really solid porter. Great malt notes, but a touch bitter and astringent. Complimentary hop notes.

Draft at the source. Very dark brown color light tan head. Aroma of burnt toast and coffee grounds. Taste is dark roast coffee left on the burner too long, in a good way. Delicious.
