Bottle at The Fraser Castle Steam Fair 2026. Ur pours clear golden - amber with a thick, fluffy white head. The aroma is bitter - sweet, sappy, sticky, resin, grapefruit, marmalade and touch of of toffee. The taste is crisp, dry, snappy, some bitterness, sappy, resin, toffee, metallic, grapefruit, pomelo, marmalade and cardboard with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Fair to middling.

16 ounce can from Hamilton Super BuyRite. Mahogany brown pour. Frothy tan head. Sweet toasted malt aroma. Flavor is sweet toasted malt, caramel and toasted nuts. Perhaps a bit of raisin as well. Some peppery hops in finish. Tasty.

Bottle shared with Johan at his place to accompany a great meal of smoked sheep head 12.08.25. Clear golden. Refreshing aroma and taste of pale malt, pilsner malt, succade and refreshing hops. Very quaffable.
