Pours pale gold into a shaker. Bright white head with little retention recedes leaving scant sheets. Mild caramel upfront turning sour in the medium length earthy bitter finish.

Draft @ brew pub. Standard pint glass showed amber and light hazy with small and white head. Aroma contained basic hop flavors, pine and grapefruit. Little malt for balance. Overall it’s a very simple, standard IPA. Tastes like they used English malts and leans on the English side of the style. No problems to report.

Draft @ brew pub. Standard pint glass shows deep black with quickly diminishing tan head. Light aroma of cinnamon, nutmeg and pumpkin. Flavor was chocolates, coffee, pumpkin, general roasted malts. Not overly strong in the pumpkin spice with is great. A bit of lactose sweetness. Nice creamy texture with a full body. If you like Stout and pumpkin, this is a homerun. This is nice.

Draft @ brew pub. Standard pint glass shows black pours with a slow receding beige head. Nose and flavors mirror each other. Good amount of roasted malt, hints of chocolate, mild bitter coffee. Smooth creamy mouthfeel. With a nice amount of dry roast. I found this to have good flavor and drinkability. Standard yet well made.

Cask@GBBF2012. Amber colour, not too much head. Aroma is fruity, wooden, herbal, caramelly and also has some quite yeasty notes to it. Flavour is fruity, floral and mildly earthy. Served a bit too early.

Tap at Barcade, Brooklyn - 02/03/12. Very dark brown to black in colour with a medium tan head. Roasted malts dominate the nose and a little bitter chocolate. Roasted malts is the mainstay of the taste, a little treacle and chocolate. Medium bodied and low carbonation - smooth drinking, great feel.

A hazed golden saison with no head. In aroma, nice mix of strawberries, watermelon and light rhubarb acidity. In mouth, a nice sweet and refreshing berry concoction with watermelon, berries and fruit acidity. Good idea. On tap at Somerville Summerfest, July 14, 2012.

12 oz. bottle from Julio’s Liquors’. Side –by-side comparison with Alchemist Celia. Although not fair, they are much different. Transparent yellow with very thin, tiny head, plus it does have a pink like hue! Light lace. Nose is loads and loads of strawberry! Real sweet. When I was a teenager a buddy’s mother made us Strawberry and rhubarb pie. Damn, this is a REAL similar flavor and instantly this brew reminded me of that pie. Light body with a lively tingle on the mouth. If you have a wife or girlfriend that hasn’t had a lot of craft beer, this could help you introduce more styles to her. Big berry finish. Maybe a bit sweet for some, not me! Really damn tasty. It actually inspires me to drive to Gloucester, Ma. to try on draft.
