Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a crystal clear gold colored body. There was not any head, but for all I know the bartender may have waited until it died to make sure I had a full beer. The carbonation was slowly rising but very light. It left little lacing and no rings.
The smell had some mild graininess with some malts. There wasn’t much else.
The taste was malty and sweet. The hops were barely there.
The palate it was light, sessionable with its low ABV.
Overall, I was somewhat impressed and liked it with the fish and chips I had. I am looking forward to trying more from Cape Cod Beers.

Very much like the All Day IPA from Founders. on draft at the brewery. Clean amber pour, large white head, nice lacing. Big floral hop aroma, some pine, bready cereal malt nose. Taste is very bitter, the sides of my tongue are constricting and my mouth is watering. Finish is nice and smooth as the bready malts take over. Nice easy session IPA, won’t get annoying, wish they made six packs of it, but a growler to go will have to do.

On draft, pours a typical oily black into the glass. No head, nice oil drip on the sides of the glass. Normal IS aroma of dark fruit, dark chocolate, some coffee but not as much as I expected, roasted nut in the taste. Finish is ok, a little more of an alcohol burn than I would like. Nice one though.

Absolutely delicious Black IPA. Pours deep brown to black with a little light that is allowed through. Nice off-white head that lasts and leaves lovely amounts of lacing. Aroma of west coast IPA, citrus and pine with roasted malts and some dark chocolate. Taste is the same with an unbelievable finish. Well done.

Better than I expected but had a straw, hay-like character that was not very appetizing. Nice subtle brown sugar notes, and a little banana and vanilla in the finish.

Absolutely delicious farmhouse ale. Golden straw color, aroma of Belgian yeast and citrus, some banana. Taste is similar to the aroma with a vanilla hint in the aftertaste. Really well done.

Bottle shared by Jay at tasting at my house. Pours dark brown with tan head. Nose and taste of oak, dark bread, caramel, toffee and light bourbon. Hint of sherry. Medium body.

Cask at GBBF 2012, London. Pours clear amber with a weak, white foam head. Crisp, dry caramel nose. Light to medium sweet flavor with grapes and light toffee. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly piney to finish, faintly resinous, with light caramel and ripe citrus. Yeah, it’s alright.

GBBF. Hazy amber beer with a few tan bubbles for a head. Palate is quite and dry and a little crisp from the mild fine carbonation. Mild juicy dried fruits, whisper of red berries. Fresh hop spice. All flavours in good balance. Fresh and fruity.
