Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Malty aroma, tinged with boiled veg. Light brown. Thin bubbly white head. Sweet and malty. The latter gains in strength. Sour edge. Develops some sweetness. Light and thin. Low key bubbly carbonation and low key finish. Sessionable - in that it's just watery and malty. Borefest.

Cask at the Great British Beer Festival 2017. Pours copper brown with a small off-white head. Aroma of malt, treacle, fruit, veg and citrus. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Leigh to medium body, oily texture, soft to flat carbonation.

Bottle. Dark amber, low offwhite lace. Biscuit malt, noble English hops, fresh ginger earth and leaves. Chewy quaffable.

Cask @ GBBF 2016. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty grassy hoppy aroma. Fruity malty grassy hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty grassy hoppy finish.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Sugary fruit aroma. Some malt in there. A hazy orange/amber, not quite Irn Bru. Fluffy, if thin, white head. Medium sweet overtones with a malty base. Gains light bitterness into the finish. Caramel. Hops. A bit boozy. Medium bodied. Oily. Soft carbonation. Long dry finish. Bitter aftertaste. A very enjoyable pint. Good stuff.

Cask. Frothy off-white good mostly lasting head. Black colour. MOderate malty and hoppy aroma. Moderate bitter week roasted flavor. Average moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Cask (Standing Order JDW, Southampton) - Light copper in colour. Raisins and caramel in the aroma. Fruity taste with raisins, caramel and blackcurrant.

On cask at the Caley Picture House. Appearance - very close to opaque black but with some red chinks. Nose - creamy chocolate and toffee. Hazelnuts. Taste - more toffee, dark chocolate, light smoke. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry crunchy finish. Overall - good.
