Gravicask, half-pint, shared with Finn. Naked surface, poor lacing, deep black body. Inviting on the nose with berry skins and chocolate malts, smoothly roasted Fine balanced malt-berry taste, impacts of chocolate, blueberries and oatmeal. Lightly roasted malt-berry ending. Smooth on the swallow. Likeable.

Gravicask, half-pint, shared with Finn. A misty golden body, dotted spots on the glass from a film-type layer. Citrus aromas, orange to the fore. Fruity taste profile, including moments of orange and pineapple. Semi-dry ending with a piney twist. Quite alright.

Half-pint, shared with Finn. Solid lacing from a tiny white head, black in the glass. Slightly roasted malt-forward aromas with hints of chocolate, attractive. Fine balanced taste of dark bread, oatmeal, ash, and chocolate with a backdrop of coffee. Choco-coffee ending. Medium bodied. Well crafted. (Liverpool, 12.02.2025).

Cask at the St Albans beer festival 2024. A clear nut brown coloured pour with a loose beige head. Aroma is semi sweet nutty earthy roast, mild roasted malts, umami. Palate is semi sweet, light, mellow cask condition. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, nutty roast, earthy, slight salt, savory, toffee. Not bad.

Cask pint @ The Corn Mill, Llangollen after a World's End ride with TMBB. Pours a clear gold, white head. Good hop bitterness with a biscuity malt base, but sadly no fruity NZ notes whatsoever unfortunately. For an NZ pale it's pretty poor.
