Bottle, 750 ml. 2022 vintage. A clear very lightly sparklng straw to golden colored cider. Fresh apple juice, fermented apple juice, notes of grass and apple peel, a flowery touch and a light sulphur and alcohol note in the aroma. It's full-bodied, lightly warming and very lightly effervescent on the palate. Lightly acidic too. The flavor is driven by fresh apple juice, with some yeasty, alcoholic, sulphury hints, accompanied by flower and grass notes, some hay and a touch of apple pits bitterness. Medium length finish. A quite pleasant one, but the sulphur is a bit too present. 231023

Bottle, 75cl. A clear, lightly sparkling, copper-ish red cider, headless. The aroma felt alcoholic at first, but that was soon replaced by red berries and apple. There should be redcurrant and blackcurrant in this cider, but my nose reports raspberry with hints of cherry. Some earthy notes shine through. It's mostly on the dry side, medium bodied and refreshing, with a soft carbonation that feels just right. Raspberry, redcurrant and some rhubarb in the else apple driven flavor. Some vague lemony hints. Rather dry, acidic finish. Not really sure about this one. There's nothing wrong with it, and there's some complexity, still it feels a bit dull. 230926

Big fizzy shortlasting head, clear straw colored. Aroma is slightly dry fruity, apple cores, flowers, dried apples, hay, grass, apple peel, minerals, leafs, hints of citrus. Taste is slightly dry sour-ish fruity, hay, apple peel, minerals, flowers, bark apple cores, grass, unripe apples, paper. Medium bitterness, slightly watery and harsh sour-ish floral mouthfeel. Fair enough.

Bottle. It's a still, clear golden cider, headless. The aroma feels a bit rough at first, but soon mellows. Still, there's a good dash of alcohol present. Mostly fresh apple juice though, with apple cores, unripe apple skin and some grass. It's full bodied, lightly warming and quite dry on the palate, with a light sourness. Not really sweet either, just a touch of sweetness. Apple skin, apple cores, grass and fresh apple juice in the flavor. A very light funky and some tannins too. Hints of pear in the very end. Feels a bit dull and bland this one, but fra from bad. 221213

Bottle, 50cl. It’s a reddish to copper colored cider, with some carbonation and bubbles on top. The aroma has a distinct aronia touch, with some apple core notes and fresh apple. It’s quite dry on the palate, decently carbonated, with some sourness. Aronia slightly overpowers the apple in the flavor too, with notes of apple cores, grass and cellar. Long finish with a touch of alcohol. Not bad this one, but I prefer my ciders with no additions. 221102

750 ml clear screwcap bottle, batch #1-2022, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8%. Clear and very pale yellow colour. Pours moderately sparkling with a small and shortlived white head. Pleasant aroma and flavour of Yellow Gravenstein dessert apples, medium sweet, a hint of sulphites.
