Bottle. Clear golden body with a small white head. Low carbonation. Aroma is apple almost a bit apple juice with clean apple aroma. Flavor is sweet and acid apple flavor. Pretty pure, clean apple, rather one-dimensional but OK without anything exiting going on. Medium flavor, medium sweet, medium acidic, medium body, medium all the way.

Bottle, 2018 edition. Clear, deep golden body with just a few bubbles and practically no head. Swirling a bit in the glass make it looks a bit thick and oily, indicating a rather sweet cider. Aroma of ripe apples, apple cores, a hint of oak and something floral that not necessary might be elderflowers but trusting the label it probably is. Flavor is sweet, really sweet, close to sticky sweet concentrated apples almost a bit like ice apple, apple cores, some cellar notes and some hint of acidity that saves this from ending up like a totally sweet catastrophe. Then this floral thing, feels a bit odd and unbalanced at the first sips, then giving it some time and adjusting the pallets for the sweetness I’m ending up enjoying it. Fine body and long lasting, mostly sweet aftertaste. Nice for a sipper (after a few sips) but half the bottle was a bit too much for my sweet tooth.

Gusher, huge fizzy shortlasting head, slightly cloudy light reddish color. Aroma is dry mineraly, paper, minerals, bark, berry skin, hints of unripe red currants. High co2 level almost kill the aroma. Taste is dry sour-is fruity, paper, sorrel, berry skin, unripe berries, apple cores, bark. Longlasting harsh bitterness, dry sour-ish fruity mouthfeel. Better try again.

From bottle at Café Spesial, Bergen 22.12.23. On the way from Kristiansund to Stavanger I had a few extra hours in Bergen because of snow chaos at the airport and rebooked flights. Clear pale straw colour. No head. Fine aroma and taste of bitter cider apples, astringent apples from deserted orcheries and apple peel! Good, well-balanced and interesting!

YG 011123. Deep golden color with no head. Aroma is apples, elderflower. Flavor is apples, elderflower, grass. Nice cider.
