Description
It is now run by a mother and son operation (Anne House/Ian House) and are using the last of their end of life orchard and have now also acquired apples from a local farmer. They are based in Ilminster, Somerset and are definitely a proper cider farm, who look to make their cider the right way.

Polycask at Merton Summer Beer Festival, 17-07-10 Pours dark gold verging towards orange, it sort of hits that midddle ground between that warm gold and the radioactive look that the Cheddar Valley cider that is always bright orange. Soft stewed apples on the nose, with also some sharp and crisp apple skin aroma. Tangy and tart in the mouth, a real citrus appley feel to this, refreshing, some late appley sweetness taking the edge of things but there is a nice gradual dryness throughout. Very nice.
