On tap at the brewpub. Pitch black coloured, medium sized brownish head, chocolate and some alcohol in the nose. Roasted malt, caramel, notes of wood and light coffee with mild alcohol in the finish. Nothing special here.

On tap at the brewpub. Clear golden coloured, medium sized white head, pleasant citrusy grassy nose. Sweet malty, light fruity, notes of citrus and grass with bitter fruity finish. Nice surprise.

On tap at the brewpub. Unclear pale golden coloured, small to medium sized white head, mild yeasty nose. Sweetish malty, yeasty and wheaty, mild banana and short fruity finish. Beer board at the brewery stated this one is Weiss.

Bottle from Birratrovo, Como
Hazy amber color, small head. The aroma is nice but unexpected; more on the biscuity malts, fresh and flowery, than hops. Lean body, light residual sweetness, biscuity malts, lightly smokey, bitter, but no hop quality.
Not bad, but weird.

Bottle from fiulijn. Hazy and a tiny bubbly head. Aroma shows a bit of oxidation, but also pears. A bit smokey on the palate, a light bitterness, a bit yeasty and muddled, still a little bright hop.

750mL bottle, pours a murky dark amber orange with a small beige head. Aroma brings out resinous hops, caramel malts, and some bready malts - classic European IIPA smell. Flavour is really strange in the hop department, with bready caramel malt, herbal hops and some strange boiled vegetable notes. More malt-heavy, with a strange hop character. Not “off”, but not very enjoyable.
