Cask@Old Fountain. Quite much black colour, beigeish brown head. Arojma is roasted malts, some mild dark dry hops as wwell as mild grassy notes. Flavour is quite muchh the same and ens in a rather wooden thing.

Cask at Merton Summer Beer and Cider Festival, 17-07-09 Pours hazy gold with white head. This beer has a nice thrusting bitterness, its dry at the end and superbly hoppy. I like this and in particular those little stalacmite spikes of hoppiness that drop from the roof of the mouth. A6 A3 F8 P4 Ov14 3.5

Cask gravity at Ealing BF 2009. Very cloudy golden colour, with very faint white head. This is pretty good. Definitely got American hops in. Toned down Schneider Brooklyn weisse. Good German style wheat and I am guessing Cascades on the finish.

Cask at Land of Liberty Peace and Plenty, Chorleywood. Golden ale with virtually no head. Citrus, hoppy aroma. Taste of lemon, grapefruit and hoppy. Quite bitter and not so well balanced. Quite a drinkable APA though.

Gravity cask at Harpenden Beer Festival on 26th Jun 2009. Crystal clear, pale gold session ale with an off white head that lasts and laces to a moderate extent. A nutty initial aroma soon gives way to a complex hoppy bouquet of grass, dry citus and herb notes. The lively, textured mouthfeel drives a thirst for more. Finish is long and intensely bitter, herby and hoppy. This ale is exquisite.

Gravity cask at the Harpenden Beer Festival 26 Jun 09. Crystal-clear reddish brown bitter with small whitish head. Nutty malt aromas initially then beer becomes very bitter. Softly textured mouthfeel and a dry, bitter finish. Quality was very good indeed at this festival, and I have not awarded the high rating lightly.

Gravity cask at the Harpenden Beer Festival, 26th June 2009. Black with diminishing foamy offwhite head. Hints of rye-bread/toast before burst of caffe latte/mocha in main kick. A strong, and long, malty finish with notes of coffee and cocoa. Despite all chocolate references the beer is certainly not too sweet, but very well balanced and crafted.
