Cask handpull at the Old Fountain, Old Street. Very deep ruby/brown colour, lasting beige head. In spanking condition. Bit of powder, dry charcoal. Quite an intense dark beer stunning to be honest. Some damson jam fruit. Itโs got choc and coffee, but they donโt dominate. Iโd say itโs a fullish fruity slightly dry, stout. Excellent.

Cask gravity at Ealing BF 2008. Amber/red colour with lasting beige head. Blimey, thatโs hoppy. Bit syrupy on the malts. I mean completely unbalanced, but a huge amount of grapefruity american hop. Stunning. Malts are a bit too sweet maybe.re rate 2020 twelve years ago. hazy gold lasting white head. good hops. good citrus. yes good citrus pale ale.

Cask handpull at Market Porter, London. Gold with thin beige head. Oh, yes, lovely US accented hop aroma, some choc too. Hops are leafy, some resin, a little earthy, but this stinging lychee finish is just excellent. Good condition. Choccy earthiness runs through it, but that finish is just so great for a UK beer.

Cask at the Land of Liberty, Peace & Plenty, Heronsgate. Perfectly conditioned, bright ruby red with a tan head, a pleasure to look at on a sunny afternoon sitting in the garden of this wonderful pub. Rich malt aromas; fruity and rich in the mouth, with lots of roasted malt flavour; finish is dry and nutty. An excellent mild, proof that a good beer can be brewed at 3.7%.

Cask at Wenlock Arms, London. A golden beer with a white head. The aroma is sweet and very fruity. While the flavor is sweet wheaty and fruity - among them banana, as well as some esters, leading to a dry wheaty finish.

Cask at Oxford Beer Festival 12-10-07 Poured black in colour, aroma was lacking slightly though there was some bitter notes, tasted a bit too sweet for me, there was some roastiness but it was struggling to come through.
