Dec. ’16. On tap at Luppolo Station, with Roman ratebeer crew. It poured almost a clear brown body with a big off white head. Aroma of roasted malt like coffee, cocoa, toasty as well (caramel, toffee) with light hops. Herbal bitter flavor, hop driven, with fine malt background, toasted to roasted just as aroma indicated. A bit fruity additionally. Medium bodied with longer, coffee and herbal bitter finish. Quite an interesting hoppy stout, more complex than most of these. No flaws in my batch.

Tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Light golden semi clear bright pour, white foam with drafts on the glass. Nice. Nose is grassy and spicy, pungently curry. Yes. Mouth is spicy, crispy crackers, medium bitterness, charming.

On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Dorata, leggermente torbida, schiuma bianca media, molto persistente. Al naso note di cereali, pane, miele, erbaceo, leggero citrico. In bocca è equilibrata, attacco dolce con finale amaro deciso, rustica, ma anche secca e pulita. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Eccellente!

Tap at Luppolo12, Rome. Pours clear dark amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma of floral hop, tropical and citrus fruit, light malt, and caramel. Light sweetness, medium plus bitterness. Medium body, slightly oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Fruity bitter finish. A very good APA.

On tap @Luppolo Station (Rome). Ambrata, viva, limpida, schiuma bianca media. Al naso sentori di resina, agrumi, note terrose, caramello. In bocca ha un attacco maltato con finale amaro deciso e leggera radice. Corpo medio, carbonazione media. Old style, ma ben fatta.

Tap at Luppolo Station, Rome-Italy. Clear deep golden pour, irregular off-white cap with retention and nice drafts. Nose: resin and grass, pils malty aroma. Mouth is aggressively bitter, far too much imo. Chicory a bit but tasty tough and quite clean.
