Draught @ SKAAL Sønderborg. Pours cloudy very dark brown with barely any head. Clear aroma of malt, dried fruit, alcohol, and yeast. Dry onset of barrel aged fruit, with roasty notes of coffee and peat, and sweetish touches og chocolate, malt, and yeast. Barrellike and choco aftertaste with estery and cakey touches. Low carbonation , but it doesn’t affect the experience, given the beer style. Warming alcohol presence. A nice one.

Can 44 cl. Pours an opaque black with a small, rough, beige head. Very sweet vanilla and marshmallow aroma. Medium body, lots of chocolate accents and again a shitload of vanilla, but surprisingly dry. Even a hint of marzipan underneath. Dry finish with a subtle bitterness. There's a lot going on here, and it's probably all flavorings. Still quite enjoyable though. 041225
