Deep amber color, thick off white head. Caramel, piney nose that is somewhat subdued. Full bodied, chewy malty piney, citrusy hops are again subdued. Rye grain, moderately dry bitter finish. If you like malty IIPAs, than maybe for you.

Deep golden color, thick white head. Somewhat skunky for some reason, lemon, dog food, somewhat malty mouth. Non-descript non-bitter finish. Sounds lame, but enjoyable.

Dark brown color, off white head. Beatiful sweet malty aroma with a touch of roasted malts, dark chcolate, hazelnut and caramel. The mouthis slightly sour, but reminded me a of a chocolate cake with drizzels of frangelico. Dry, sour finish that was a bit unexpected.

Very dark brown with a light brown head. Caramel, roasted malts, vanilla, espresso beans, sweet malty nose. Simply heavenly. Smooth mouth that reminded of creamy mochaccino with a shot of vanilla syrup. light bitterness. Finishes like condensed mochaccino with a touch of caramel. Friging amazing.

Cloudy dull amber. Slightly smoky and sweet. WTF? Random bitterness and a hint of oxidized smoked malt. Ummm...shouldn’t a double IPA have more than just a token amount of English hops? Shouldn’t in be a balls-out blitz? Understated and uninteresting despite the WTF factor. Given what the Danes and Swedes are brewing these days, this name is not fitting.

Deep dark stout with a thin dark moak head. Nice chocolatey malt with a whiff of grapes and dark coffee, quite nice. In mouth, a nice coffee roast, with bitter chocolate, light hopping and dry medium bodied. A classy little stout, not overbearing, and quite balanced. Bottle from Sherril C. in Spring 2006.

Clear dark amber ale with a thin lacing white head. Strong alcohol, with pleasant fruity esters, spices, coriander, and oranges, pleasing. In mouth, a good classic sweet caramel malt with coriander, warming alcohol, light hopping, and medium body. Overall, this was quite nice. Bottle from Sherril C. in Spring 2006.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color beer with a huge foamy brown color head with pretty good retention. Aroma of roasted malt is detectable though not overpowering. Taste is a mix between roasted malt, coffee with a lingering smoke. Body has a creamy feel to it, which is quite enjoyable.

Bottle: Poured a pitch-black color stout with a medium dark head with average retention. Aroma of roasted malt with discernable bitter hops is quite enjoyable. Taste is more malt heavy then expected though I am not complaining with some discernable coffee and ends with a medium bitterness. Body is above average and carbonation is low. Very much enjoyed that one (thanks to Capflu)
