Cask, handpump at FFTMC, Oxford 25-05-10 There is some sulphour and its also a little dusty nosed is this beer. Touches of streaky bitterness throughout clinging to the roof of the mouth. Clean gold colour with some white bubbles around edge. The finish is dry with a return of the bitterness, there is also a little silage on the nose, but its a nice beer. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.4

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol, 15/4/10. As Fin mentions, the pump clip states 3.6%. A funny one this: Lemon and grapefruit dryness clashed with sweet malts head on - the individual flavours were great, but it really didn’t come together for me.

Cask, gravity dispensed, at the Kingston Arms, Cambridge. Pitch black with a thin loose tan head; aroma of roasted malts with a hint of smoke; sweet roasted malt flavour with a touch of milk chocolate; and a malty finish. A very sound mild.

Cask, handpump at The Cambridge Blue 27-03-10 Pours light silvery gold, in fact this really is very pale in colour, excellent clarity, thin white head atop. Dry and bitter in mouth, some sweetness showing, there is lemon or actually is it sweetened grapefruit? Yes I think grapefruit, a corking beer at just 3.6% according to the pumpclip, quite lovely. Cask. A hazy golden beer with a thin white head. The aroma has notes of malt and light notes of straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and elderflowers from the hops, leading to a dry and lightly bitter finish. Very refreshing.
