22oz bomber pours with a nice dark body that has thin mahogany colored edges and supports a tan head of foam. The aroma offers up molasses, chocolate, dark roasted malts, malt balls and a touch of blueberries. The taste delivers some smooth sweet malts, chocolate, a bit of molasses and then some hit of chili. To midway the chili heats up to a moderate level of heat and burn with wafer thin snippets of sweet vanilla. The heat lingers well into the after taste. This is good with plenty of depth but it doesn’t totally come together. I’d get this again though.

Bombet. Dim gold color. Head retention is strong. Clear, visible carbonation bubbles. Thick and sweet beer, what else to expect from Imperial Saison. Apple skins and light rotten fruits. Flavor is less apply and fruity but plenty of sweet Belgian biscuit, too sweet. Not sugary but too much Belgian sweet esters. Finishes better than majority of flavor. I had low expectations but got this bottle on discount.

Slick and thick clear golden with little head. Aroma is sweet, fruity, a decent chunk of hops, crystal malts. I’m not picking up much, if any, gin or barrel notes. In that regard this is a bit of a let down, however the beer that this turned into is quite nice regardless. Full bodied and elegant.

Strong booze smell. The chilli peppers are prominent and burn the lips. Couldn't drink a lot, though good in small dosage.

Tap at GABF. Pours a hazy orange with medium off white head that lasts. The aroma is wheat, citrus, clove. Medium body, similar flavors to nose, light finish, decent.

Draft pour at Winter Beer Fest. Pepper beer stands always get my attention first! Labeled as simply Sound Cave Bear. Pours black with a tan cream head. Sweet vanilla, cocoa aroma. Flavor is sweet, which overpowers the pepper qualities. Creamy milk chocolate beer as an end result. More chili! Fun beer here.

Golden orange with a white head. Aroma is full of citrus, some tropical notes, light toasted pale malt, sweet fruit throughout. A very standard IPA. Easily forgettable but well-brewed.
