Sample at the "Goodwill Birthday Party" on 11/12/2016. The beer pours a hazy golden color with a medium bone white head that dissipates steadily to an outer ring. Stringy lacing. Herbal yeast, fruit and malt aroma. Medium body with flavors of floral yeast, fruit and earthy malt. The finish is fruity with a Belgian yeast aftertaste. Decent overall.

12 oz can from a six pack. Killed the first couple watching football, paired nicely. This one poured, just wanting a good beer with no occasion attached. Pours a bright golden orange with a lasting foam head. A pleasant bready malt aroma to pair with the citrus hop quality. Flavor leans towards the malt, with a late citrus impact. Very refreshing IPA. Easy 6 pack to work through.

22 oz bottle shared with friends. Mostly clear golden orange with off-white head. Aromas of herbs, spice, citrus fruit and peel, subtle funk. Tastes of apples, herbs, spice, citrus, light funk, some booze. Medium body with a dry finish. Solid, just a touch too boozy.

22oz bomber pours with a clear copper body that has thin gold edges and supports a nice light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up mango, pineapple, apricot, strawberry and a fig like sensation with thin shards of pine like hops at the edge of the experience. The taste delivers the resiny pine like hops stronger than the nose as firm levels of pine sap bitter resiny hoppiness runs this thing from front to back. Well beneath the pine are modest thin juicy notes of mango and apricot like fruitiness. I’m enjoying the firm bitter hoppiness and get a thin sweet maltiness that sweetens up the pine hop note just a bit. Nice IIPA.

deep amber color. Lots of stone fruit nectarine, with some mangoes in the nose. Malty with lots of tangerines and mangoes over caramel. Very yeasty. Lingering bitter finished with mangoes. Excellent

tons of cracked wheat pepper terrified wheat and lemon. A touch on the cloying side, and not that authentic, but still pretty enjoyable.

sweet, good roasted malts, lots of chillies and dark chocolate. Chillies are very pronounced that linger in the finish. Somewhat sweet. Decent impy but not overly complex.

very big bready nose with tons of apples crumble, peaches, oak and sourness in nose. Very smooth, the caramel breadiness is big. Very full body malty over the top. Just a huge beer. So full on every direction. Big warming finish. Smooth, but slightly syrupy. Good stuff

Medium golden color. Lovely gin, oak, vanilla nose with some apple, bread and marmalade. Very light body for 10%, but palate falls down a bit with oak, stewed apples, spice, orange peel and gin much more subdued. The oak hit the back of the throat. The gin, oak and spiced apples linger in the end. Interesting, but oddly could be a bit sweeter (rarely say that) to balance out things. Interesting stuff. I spoke to the brewer and he told me it was the forth beer in the barrel, but gin is still fairly prominent.
