On tap at Independence, pours black with a small beige head. Aroma brings out elegant bourbon barrels, vanilla and caramel - complex as hell. Flavour is loaded with bourbon barrels, light vanilla, and caramel. Fair amount of booze, but it's not abrasive. Wonderful bourbon barrel character transforms this beer into a whole new entity. Fantastic.

On tap at Independent, pours a cloudy dark amber with a small white head. Aroma is extremely fruity, with lots of red fruits, farmhouse yeast, and raisins. Flavour is similar, with lots of raisins, red fruits, light yeast and esters. Nothing close to a biere de garde, but it's a fun red fruity ale of some sort. Good stuff.

On tap at Independent, pours a clear golden with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out taco spices and light saison yeast. Flavour is very earthy and spicy, with lots of spicy taco meat. Yeuch - this isn't pleasant to me.

On tap at Independence, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of tannins, some vanilla and light balsamic. Flavour is along the same lines, with balsamic, tannins, vanilla and light citric notes. Nicely balanced, though perhaps a bit too acetic. Great stuff.

On tap at Independent, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma is loaded with cucumber skins upfront, followed by lacto. Flavour is likewise a cucumber skin bomb, being totally dominated by the cucumber. A little bit of lacto underneath. Crisp and highly drinkable. Excellent.
