12oz can pours out dark brown almost black topped with a tan head. Nose is sweet caramel chocolate and some vanilla. Taste is more of the nice sweet chocolate caramel vanilla roast malts.

Pint can pours with a slightly hazy copper body that supports a full off white head of foam. The aroma offers up malt liquor like booze, sweet sugary malts and orange candy. The taste delivers easy drinking orange and mild hoppiness. It picks up slick sweet malts riding on top of a slightly creamy wheat induced mouth feel. Toward the finish the booze creates a faint sense of a malt liquor but that doesn't distract from the experience. Like the other Lunacy version I've had this is dangerously drinkable even crushable. This is a well crafted product.

12 oz. can from Total Wine, Scottsdale, AZ. Pours a clear dark mahogany color with a fine khaki head and good retention. Decent lacing. Vanilla extract aroma. Strong vanilla flavor is dominant with some chocolate and caramel flavor in the finish. Not much porter flavor (or any beer flavor) here. Very sweet with no bitterness. It all sounds better than it tastes, unfortunately. Too much of a good thing? Creamy mouthfeel. Medium body. Low carbonation.

12oz bottle pours with a mahogany colored body that supports a thin light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up an inviting level of basic medium roast coffee as well as a thin earthy coffee note and chocolate malts. The taste delivers a nice coffee flavor with thin molasses and malt sweetness around the edges. This is pretty nice.

Pint at the North Rim Restaurant. Pours black, with a medium, frothy, brown head. The aroma is coffee, light tobacco, earth, dark cherries, toasted oak. Sweet and roasted, with a light bitterness. Medium body, with a syrupy, mildly astringent mouthfeel. This is a pretty nice, simple and clean stout.
