(Keg at Pikkulintu, 20141103) The beer poured almost black. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had malts, molasses and mildly fruitiness. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, caramel, ash and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, burnt and bitter. A messy mixture of burnt and sweet flavours.

Draught @ Pikkulintu
Aroma is malty and syrupy with some bread. A slight sahti-like feeling here. Flavour has bready malt, some syrupy tones, grassy and herbal hops. Watery and a bit kotikalja-like. Feels like a dunkel. No signs of the house aroma.

Tap at Pikkulintu, Helsinki. Colour is reddish brown with very small white head. Aromas and flavors: Dark fruits, dryness, roastiness, hints of sweetness and hints of malts. Pretty interesting, thin but drinkable. Fruity mild ale?

Tap@sopp2014. Mahogany color, thin white head. Caramel, toffee, banana in aroma. Flavor has banana, toffee, caramel. Decent, quite thin.

Smell of acid, hazy brown colour, minimal white head. Aroma of yeast, leaves, mead, sugar. Sweet with a faint bitterness. Negligible carbon. Oily texture, full body.

Smell of banana, peat, smoke. Mud colour, no head. Aroma of yeast, banana, juniper. Peat in finish. Sweet with a faint sourness. No carbon. Oily and heavy.

Aroma is quite light with some malty tones and grain. Perhaps also hints of peaches and watermelon. Flavour has hay, some fruity tones, watermelon and grainy & bready malt. Also some acidic feeling in the backgound. Mellow, not your typical bitter.
