Draught @ Pienpanimoiden Pieni Olut-tapahtuma, Mallaskoski, Seinäjoki
Sourish and bitter aroma cith citrus and vanilla. Rather tart flavour with citrus, grapefruit and some leathery gooseberry bush leaves. Finishes with grain and cardboard like some alcoholfree lagers. Feels very contaminated and not like pils at all, the tartness and sourness are at lambic level. Then again it makes this interesting.

3L plastic canister @ Olutravintola Kahdet Kasvot. Rated on 15.01.2010
Aroma is somewhat sweet with banana esthers, some clove and caramel. Flavour has banana esthers, somewhat strong yeasty notes, caramel and distant earthy notes. Not too boozy, not too sweet – belongs to my Sahti top three.

Aroma is sourish and stale and actually feels like sweaty sportsgear forgotten to a closet. Flavour is also sour and stale with berries, some ash and smoky notes. Feels like a somewhat contaminated dunkler bock – the smoke is just in the background.

Aroma has exotic fruits, hops, some gooseberry bush and nettles. Flavour is somewhat fruity with hops, some grainy malt, nettles and gooseberry bush. Clean and crisp APA, could have more character though.

Draught @ SOPP 2012. Poured hazy amber, thin head. Very sweet aroma of ripe bananas, spices. Flavor quite the same, light berry and smokey finish. Ok sahti I guess, but I have never really liked sahti that much for some reason.
