Oh how I love running through all these Chinese lagers... and what’s maddening is that I’ve only just scratched the surface! This starts as the usual - foamy head, yellow body, cardboard grassy aroma. Flavour is unintrusive lemon over a rice-wine body. Poor at best.

Drank from the can in a Hong Kong soccer park. San Miguel seems to import this from across the border, probably cheaper to brew it over there and throw in some lead to enhance the flavour! Aroma is all tin and malt, it’s yellow and the head was okay when I poured it onto the ground (more on that later). Flavour is water, piss, and corn - this will go out the same flavour and colour it will go in! Very weak mouthfeel. Half of this can was enough for me, and that was only because I was thirsty.

pours like water, beyond pale, smells like artificial pineapple. Sweet malty artificial crap, but not that unpleasant

Golden colour. Some mushroom and maybe some sulphur on the nose. More sulphur on the palate. Maybe some toast. OK for a forty cent swill.

Can, HK. Yellow and smelly. Sulphur, veggies, tomato and hot dog water on the nose. Watery palate, but with a taste that reminds me of Kraft Dinner with ketchup. What? I was five when I liked that shit. Expletive, expletive, expletive this beer is bad.

Canned, thx to NoiZe. Clear yellow color, no head. Aroma of sweet pineapple candy. Sweet candy taste. More soda than beer. Extremely sweet.

Canned (has apparently no connection to the Venezuelan brand) Pale yellow, minimal head. Sweetish, fruty and over carbonated. Swift flavour of rice, paper and vegetables followed by off flavours of sweat and glue. Lousy!

Canned. Clear golden, ultra brief head. Fruity nose with crystallic hard mouthfeel. Light bodied, sharp and raw - yet thin and watery. Sugar instead of bitterness.

Canned. Clear pale golden. Dusty fruity nose. Light bodied with raw mouthfeel. Lots of boiled vegetables, but most of all lots of water. Dusty finish.

Canned. Bright pale golden, rich head. Aroma of rice syrup. Sweet and light bodied with rounded mouthfeel. A very vague touch of grassy hops also provides the lightest whiff of bitterness. Not worse than other Chises macro lagers.
