Can from th 7Eleven by the Sentral monorail in KL. Almost clear golden body, thick creamy off-white head. Sweet peach juice aroma, some maltiness and light spice. Peach ice tea, herbal notes, sweetish, ending dry. Might as well have a weizen body, bit of bubblegum too. Okay I guess, bit on the sweet side buy many things are in this area.

Can from somewhere in KL, dunno anymore but it was dirt cheap compared to actual beer. Cleat amber body, surprisingly, fleeting head, fizzy. Grapefruit dominated the aroma, which is a bit yeasty as well somehow. Drinkable pop, but you can do far better in terms of flavored drinks in Malaysia so it fails there.

7%, Malaysian version, from Houz. Clear golden body, fairly lasting big off-white head. Sweet honeyish full malty aroma, light fruitiness, bit dusty, some alcohol. Lean, dry taste, dusty, bit malty, minerally, lightly honeyish and eggy. Not terrible but nah, not finishing this either.

0.33l can (Malaysia, 4.0%) from Ar City Mart Sdn Bhd, Kuala Lumpur. Terrace tasting with Alex S. Clear pale golden body, white head. Floral, lightly herbal sweetish aroma, actually promising. Sweetish, dry taste, grainy, light cardboard, no hop, meh, but drinkable enough, one of the ones I disliked the least!

Bottle at Frangipaani, Kuala Lumpur. Very dark brown, blackish bodt, tan head, small. Creamy raisiny aroma and caramelly. Dry, almost watery cocoa taste, roasty, with distinct raisins again. Low bitterness. Solid stout! By far the best macro beer in the country I reckon!

0.325l bottle, Sungei Way Brewery. Clear pale golden body. Bit cheesy fermented apple, old white wine notes. Sweet taste, bit old wine-like, ending dry, lightly apple fleshy. Well, works!

27/4/2024. Can shared at fonefan Ulfborg tasting. Malaysian brewed. Pours close to black with a foamy beige head. Good pour. Aroma of molasses, liquorice, dried fruits, chocolate, roasted malt, sour blackberry. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness, light sourness. Moderate body, slightly watery, quite fizzy. Very bitter roast finish. Not keen on this version.
