Can shared at John’s back tasting. Clear dark brown with fluffy dark beige head. Cardboard, soap, ginger, galangal, flowery, lime peel, soft roast. Solid medium sweet, light bitter. Light bodied. Actually not that bad.

Tap at Sutraa, Kuala Lumpur. Poured a clear light amber colour with a mostly lasting frothy white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is caramel malt, mineral, light cardboard, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp, light, slightly watery, toffee caramel malt, light metallic, hop bitter palate. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. Not great but not bad either. I’d rather be drinking this than Tiger Beer.

Clear golden. Aroma is metallic hops, dust, dried grass. Taste is sweet grapey juices, starchy. Hoppy starchy finish. Not toally bad.

Can. Unclear golden color with white head. Aroma is sweet corn, wort, yeast. Taste is the same, sugary sweet. Oily mouthfeel with natural carbonation. Quite offensive.

Can 500ml. @ home. [ As Anchor Smooth Pilsener ].[ Courtesy of saxo ]. Clear light medium yellow colour with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, cooked corn, light vegetables. Flavor is light moderate sweet with a average duration, pale malt, sweet malt, vegetables, watery, metalic. Sample from jtclockwork: pours golden. Aroma is sugary and grainy. Taste is sugary without much else going for it. Not good. Not sure if the age made it much worse than it would be originally. Not good.

Can shared with deanso. Poured a crystal clear straw colour with a fizzy white head and lots of bubbles. The aroma is sweet apple. The flavour is moderate sweet with some dry, slightly tart fruit notes. Medium to light bodied with average carbonation. It's yet another sweet cider. OK, but nothig much to set it apart from the rest.
