Sample at the Fat Cow, Bangkok. Poured a hazy straw colour with a bubbly white head. The aroma is big passion fruit. The flavour is moderate sour with a crisp fresh fruity, dry yeast palate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle at the Fat Cow, Bangkok. Poured a hazy light amber with a short-lived frothy white head and a few bubbles. The aroma is malt, tropical fruits, mango, light woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter light sweet with a fresh, crisp, fruity, light dry pepper spice, light barnyard, woody hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Fresh crisp and fruity. A good night thirst quenching APA despite what the label says.

Tap at the Fat Cow, Bangkok. Poured a crystal clear medium amber with a frothy white head and a few bubbles. The flavour is moderate bitter with a crisp, fresh, light fruit, light aromatic hop bitter palate and a lingering bitter finish. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Nice but I drank this alongside one of the original bottles courtesy of Manuel at the Fat Cow and I must say that the original has a much bigger flavour profile with lots of fruit. I’m not saying that the Cambodian beer is bad, far from it, but it’s not as tasty as the original Thai brewed beer.
