Cloudy dark amber to brown color; compact head. Strong, soapy and spicy aroma, cinnamon in front of all; gingerbread. Correct body strength; strong caramel flavor, some residual sweetness, strong spicy flavor (cinnamon and cloves); the bitterness is a bit too much. I don’t fancy these strong spicy beers, nevertheless it’s not bad.

Bottle 75 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy opaque brown with hardly any head. Very spicy nose. Medium body, nuts and spices - X-mas spices indeed, cloves, cinnamon and cardamom in particular. The spices are a bit overpowering actually. No real bitterness. 121010

Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma has strong notes of spices, strongest is cardemomme, on a malty background. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of cardemomme and other spices on a malty background, where also a note of caramel mixes in, leading to a dry spicy finish.
