Drinking this beer at ingelwood, Unimail, Geneva, after a time at the Spanish embassy, two days ago, time to have a decent beer, on the Belgium way, smooth and sweet, toffee, biscuity, sugar, some hop at the final, a bit boozy, not bad. 14.08.2022

(Keg at Le Kraken, 20190916) The beer deep amber and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had caramel, raisins and Belgian style yeast. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, grass, caramel, Belgian style yeast, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, malty and bitter. A decent malty brew with Belgian twist.

33 cl bottle, served in white wine glass. Copperish red pour, clean and dark. Head is grayish and lasts quite long. Aroma is quiet high and sweetish: cake, pink pepper, nutmeg, caramel. Like some Dutch Speculoos biscuit, if you know what I mean. Mouthfeel is potent, pungent to some extent, mouth·covering. Nice sour touch, no bitterness. Medium lasting finish.

Amertume noble, levure rappelant type belge.

Bottled. An amber beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, straw, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, fruit, bread, and minerals, leading to a hoppy, fruity, and yeasty finish. The body is light. Thanks yespr for sharing this seldom beer.
