On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a cloudy blonde with no head. Aroma brings shitloads of fresh ginger with only gentle apple acidity showing. Flavour is along the same lines, with fresh ginger and gentle crisp acidity. Simple but vibrant and well-incorporated.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a cloudy yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of wood upfront, with crisp apples and medium acidity. Flavour is super woody, with bone dry okay wood upfront, crisp acidity and apple skins. Complex. The wood is used wonderfully here. Really nice.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a hazy blonde with no head. Aroma brings out fresh apple pie spices, especially cinnamon upfront, along with some caramel and baked apple. Flavour brings out baked apples, cinnamon and caramel. Really authentic tasting, with a great blend of the apple pie elements. Excellent.

Tasting at Matt’s
So pale that is near to water. Vinous aroma, delicate, a bit flowery, light fruity touch, but also a hint of cork. Dry, acidic, and empty, no remarkable flavor, and a bit astringent in the final.
One more American poor cider that doesn’t go anywhere.

Bottle - Some green apple and sulphur. Very clear. Apple peel, blight bitterness and a dry finish. No bubbles at all, not worth the hype.

750mL bottle, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma is bone dry, with champagne-like effervescence and super dry apples. Flavour is very restrained, with bone dry apples and maybe a touch of champagne wildness. Don't get any of the high alcohol. Not very complex at all. The carbonation is surprisingly underwhelming -- barely carbonated. Not bad, but very underwhelming. Disappointing.

Bottle sampled at Merridale, pours a clear caramel gold with no head. Aroma is very heavy and boozy, with brandy, wood, booze and caramelized syrupy apples. Flavour is intensely sweet, woody and boozy, but not harsh. Sweet, but not too cloying. Wonderfully made. Excellent.

Bottle sampled at Merridale, pours a clear caramel colour with a few bubbles. Aroma is very sweet, with treacly toffee, brandy liqueur, and syrupy caramelized apples. Flavour is along the same lines, with syrupy caramelized apples, booze, brandy liqueur and treacle. Syrupy palate that I'm sure would get cloying after a while. For what it is, it's very nice.
