Bottle sampled at Merridale, pours a clear pale blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out light funk, crisp green apples and even a touch of sweetness. Flavour is along the same lines, with crisp green apples, a touch of funky farmhouse notes, and some almost champgne-like crispness. Balanced well, with lots of depth for a dry cider. Very good.

Draught at St. Augustine’s, Vancouver
Cloudy pale yellow color. Aroma of sour cider, but also light manure, and maybe hops. Very strange flavor, vegetable juice (carrots, chard...), but also some refreshing quality.
Weird but not bad.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a cloudy blonde with a small white head. Aroma is quite hoppy, with a thin green apple presence underneath. Flavour is quite sharp, with a very highly citric apple quality, complemented by lots of dry hopping. Quite sharp and citric, a little too much so. Decent.

On tap at Bitter Tasting Room. A lot of sweet berries in the aroma and taste like in ice ciders. Very pleasant.

Cask at Alibi Room, Vancouver, 6+6 oz
Hazy dark blond color, the head is shirt lived. Notes of stewed apples in the aroma and flavor, stronger than the delicate spice; the spirit adds a pleasant warm character even if the drink is slightly chilled. Balanced.
Very enjoyable.

with apple brandy, 7% ABV

Cloudy or murky pale yellow color. This time is more fruity, fresh, appley, less skunky; the mouthfeel is lightly sweet and salty, the acidity level is low; I pick hints of Edamame beans and Japanese sauce; the mind is tricked to think that there could possibly be some brandy. Very pleasant, but I enjoyed it more at 12 Kings.

Cloudy lemonade. Besides a hint of rubber, it has some nice apple aroma and flavor, a bit skunky, the flavor is also salty, it has a nice degree of acidity, citrus fruits, and a grassy finish. Weird and nice.

Draft - Sweet acidic apple. Clear gold. Lots of non sweet apple and dry. No alcohol or sweetness. Not bad, but not as complex as I would think with the crab apple.

Draft - Fresh grass and a touch of funky apple. Cloudy gold with a small white head. A bit of acidity up front, light hay note and some apple sweetness. Hops seem to be on the grassy side, which give it some complexity but acidity and sweetness of the apple are a bit off putting.

On tap at 12 Kings, pours an opaque blonde with a tiny white head. Aroma brings out loads of hemp, lots of dry hopping, and moderate apple sweetness. Flavour is very unusual, with a huge blast of hemp / pot upfront, followed by the dry hopping and finishing with sweet apples. Needs some more carbonation and it's a tad sweet, but it's very enjoyable.
