On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a hazy golden orange with no head. Nose brings out caramelized apples and apple brandy. Flavour is complex, with dry apples, liqueur, farmhouse notes, and an uber dry finish. This is the best Merridale product I've had by far. Dry, complex and drinkable. Excellent stuff.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a crystal clear faded yellow with no head. Nose smells more like a cider than a mead, with lots of caramelized apples. Flavour tastes more like a blend, bringing out dry apples upfront, transitioning to honey. Still finishes dry despite the honey. Very nice blend of the cider and mead. Booze isn't detectable. Good stuff.

Draught, St Augs. Reddish-brown. Nice balance between the apple and raspberry. There’s a little tartness. Not a bad fruit cider, maybe a bit sweet but I can taste all of the elements and it’s refreshing.

Draught at Alibi Room, Vancouver
Cloudy dark blond color. Nice apple juice aroma with some apple brandy (apfelschnapps). Not too dry, very astringent, a lot of apple peel, apple juice flavor, and alcohol punch, some distillate tail too apparently.
A bit messy, not bad.

Older rating. Bottle, pours a ruby red / amber with a tiny head. Nose brings out loads of berries, fruit juice, and sweetness. Flavour brings out a big barrage of fruit juice and berries, with a moderate sweetness and subtle acidity. Tastes fairly gimmicky and not like a real cider, as fiulijn denotes. Okay.

Ruby color, hazy, with very small head. Mild fruity aroma, strawberry juice. It has a good balance of moderate sweetness and light acidity; the apple juice is clearly present, and then there is some berry juice.
Not as complex as a real cider, but still a pleasant soft drink.

On tap. Pours a light straw color with no head and medium carbonation. Aromas of freshly cut apples - not much though. Flavor likewise with grass up front then apples and light spice.
