Dull, sort of cloudy. Not actually a good look, but ok. The nose and especially the palate just bludgeon you with mulling spices. Fak. You know in Scandinavia you get glgg, and you’re supposed to dilute it, but if you don’t you get this mega sweet, sort of tart, intense spice bomb. That’s what this is. Balance? Huh?

Very pale green, cloudy. Has a hot, gingery character. Like putting some apples into a ginger beer. Even has that cane syrup sweetness. Well, it’s a niche product but right in my wheelhouse.

Bright, apple juice colour. Appley nose, maple taste is sweet, and dominant. Some pleasant apple tartness comes in late. Actually a pretty nice drink.

Light haze, very pale. Strong artificial bacon nose and taste (think bacon bits). No balance really to speak of. A mess of a product. Not sure who would like this; it’s just too artificial.

Cloudy, pale. Tart apple is clean and refreshing, with just a light citrusy note from the hop, and a touch of bitterness.

Boozy, woody, has a more mellow apple note, but overall is hotter, and while it has oomph, it lacks refinement and complexity. Ok.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clear pink-tinted copper with a tiny head. Aroma brings out notes of cough drop and a little cherry. Flavour is quite sweet, with light tartness, sweet cherries, and gentle acidity. Sweet, not sour, not complex but easy to drink. Decent.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a clouded blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of dry hopping and fresh ginger upfront. Flavour is very prominent on the dry hopping, followed by fresh ginger, and crisp dry apples. Not as good as the un-dry-hopped version. Decent.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a fairly clear whitish blonde with no head. Aroma brings out lots of pear skins, followed by subdued brandy. Flavour is medium sweet, with no tannins, low acidity, and light pear juice. Would've never guessed that this is infused with brandy. Decent but falls a bit short.

On tap at St. Augustine's, pours a cloudy white with a tiny head. Aroma brings out light lime and gentle acidity. Flavour brings out loads of ascorbic lime, followed by moderate sweetness, and light tartness. Moderate acidity. I quite like this.
